Intro to Job

Kami kicks off our study of Job by reflecting on the way we often put very human-shaped expectations on God. Proponents of the prosperity gospel believe that good behavior will always yield tangible blessings, but God sees things on a different level than we do.

Next, in light of the deep feelings conveyed by Job in his biblical account, Melissa considers whether self-control means that we must stuff all of our negative feelings, or if negative emotions can actually be gifts from God when used well.
